I run a residency for creative writers with Ellie Robb and Nadja Leonard-Hooper (who came up with this idea!) called Hot Bread.
Hot Bread is a three-hour residency, where you go to an apartment, spread out, and write while someone bakes you bread. At the end of the three hours, you sit together, eat the bread while it's warm, and talk about art. That's the entire residency!
Being a writer is lonely and it's hard to find places to work in the city that are 1. clean and 2. free. We're creating nice cozy spaces where you get to exhale for a minute.
